BRIM BMP BRAIDED SLEEVING   

BRIM’S BMP sleeving is a lightweight PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) braided Monofiliment
designed for general commercial and industrial applications where chemical, fungus, cut-
through and abrasion resistance, and high flexibility are required. 

These braids can expand 2-3 times their original inside diameters allowing easy installations
with as snug, customized fit, even over irregular surfaces when pulled taught.  More con-
venient than using Spiral Wrap or Shrinkable tubings, and less expensive than Zipper tubing
for mechanical protection applications. 

BMP-1 is used in general all-purpose applicatios.  BMP-2 is used for heavy-duty applications
where additional abrasion and cut-through protection is required.  Fraying, flattening and
creasing resistant, evn after prolonged spooling.  Also, resistant to most chemicals includ-
ing common solvents.

IMPERVIOUS TO ROT AND FUNGUS AND WILL NOT DEGRADE WHEN EXPOSED TO GREASE, OILS,
FUELS, AND SALT WATER AS PER MIL-I-631.

CUT WITH A "HOT" KNIFE OR SCISSOR.
